ScanNova operates as a zero-cloud infrastructure service. All computational rendering, string encoding, and optical matrix character translations happen exclusively inside the user's terminal.
2. Information Collection & Processing
We do not aggregate, harvest, or pull user tracking logs onto distant network arrays. Any raw alphanumeric content cached via scan activity is bound strictly to system files.
3. Hardware Permission Usage
- Camera Permission: Required to scan inputs locally. Frame buffers are processed instantaneously in volatile RAM and never archived.
- Storage Permission: Deployed to access image files selected by the user for internal scanning or to save layouts into the shared gallery.
- Flashlight Permission: Maps hardware command routes to trigger the phone's flash module for visibility adjustments.
4. Advertising Services & Unity Ads Information
To keep development functional, ScanNova incorporates third-party promotional SDK scripts, explicitly the Unity Ads service network. These automated ad engines may access anonymous network markers, system configurations, or device identifiers purely to show relevant ads while following global data laws.
5. Third-Party Services
Our code base hooks into core analytical scripts provided by Google ML Kit engines to handle barcode processing safely. These layers maintain separate sandbox architectures.
6. Data Security
Because all history logs are cached inside your phone's memory via SharedPreferences configurations, data security depends directly on your device's operating system security. No data is stored or synced in the cloud.
7. Children's Privacy
ScanNova does not knowingly collect tracking markers from children under 13. If you believe your child has bypassed permissions, please contact us to clear the application's storage safely.
8. User Rights
You retain full control over your data. You can clear, reset, or permanently wipe out your entire search log list in one click using the 'Clear History' tool in the app's diagnostic settings.
